Please see our SCHEDULE page for all our updated dates and links, including: Sons of Bellamy, Moose Mountain, and Muldoon!
A few other housekeeping notes:
As of now, PDGA/NEFA SANCTIONING will be pursued for the following LFDT events (TD choice):
Moose Mountain: PDGA-C
Beauty Hill: PDGA-C / NEFA
Franklin Falls: PDGA-C / NEFA
PDGA and NEFA are both outstanding organizations worthy of your membership dollars so we hope you see the decision to co-sanction as a bonus at these particular events!
DATE CHANGE for Franklin Falls: now scheduled for Saturday Sept 24. We moved it to avoid conflict with the Rally of Rochester (PDGA-B) which returns for its 2nd year of showcasing 2 of NH's finest (Salmon Falls and Squamanagonic) in a combined Rochester-wide tourney Aug 12-13.
It's finally here, folks - your 2017 LFDT LINEUP!

And if you missed our winter meeting, catch up on the minutes linked here.
Thanks to all who attended the first LFDT event of 2016 and made the Heart of NH Open at Top O' The Hill a huge success! Official scoring page will be up in another day or two but here's something to whet the appetite of all you DG stalkers out there. Before you scratch your head wondering "how did MA2 low beat MPO low" keep in mind that MA2/FA1 played from white tees round2, all others from blue.
Hot shooting from Lem to (orange) crush the MA2 field at his home course (10 strokes!!). Not to be outdone, Nicole Maclean paced the FA1 field by 18! Charlie Veysey kept it "close" in MA1 with a 6 stroke margin over Isaac Kipp. Chooch beat out perennial contenders Daniel Marcus and Chris Young to take MPM while Peter Anderson edged out Greg Bianco to take MPG. For the 2nd year in a row the MPO title came down to a playoff - this time between Mike Habets and Evan Shper. Both shot hot first rounds (64 and 65 respectively) and Vegas oddsmakers favored Habets' experience heading into round 2. Shper fought back and closed the gap to send it to a playoff. C'mon guys, 44 holes wasn't enough? Habets prevailed in the end and made it clear that he's gunning for a 2016 NH season title to go with the GMPS one he earned last year.
We're off to a great start so far and we've got Pinnacle and Bellamy to look forward to in May. See you at the next one!
The Sons of Bellamy 2 is now open for registration, joining Top O' The Hill (sold out at 88) and Pinnacle (filling up fast.)
Bellamy is the "grand-daddy" of NH disc golf and a perennial favorite, so don't miss out! Our event dates and reg links are always available through the "Schedule" tab on this site. If you haven't signed up for an LFDT membership yet and you want in on the season-long points series see our "Membership" tab to get going. Your LFDT number will be requested at each Disc Golf Scene tourney registration. It takes us a day or two from the time of your payment to assign and update the member #s so it's a good idea to do it BEFORE you're trying to reg for an event. I know, I know- being a grown-up is hard.
Finally, some announcements related to the Heart of NH Open at TOPO:
*Lunch vendor selected and it turns out we didn't have to look too far. Marty-burgers and TOPO-dogs will be available for purchase at lunch, hot off the grill.
*Trophies (divisions of 5 or more) will be provided by Chris Sherwin at Sherwin Art Glass (see middle column below). Check out his FB page and support a long-time disc golf supporter who does beautiful work!
Heart of NH Open (Top O the Hill) filled at 88 players but there's plenty of space for LFDT#2: The Pinnacle Spring Runoff. This is an awesome, long-standing GMPS event that we're co-sanctioning this year. Sign up today and help us defend the home turf against invading Vermonters! Just kidding, GMDGC people are cool. But seriously, let's beat them ;)
Speaking of cooperation with GMDGC, we're fortunate to have Vibram Disc Golf on board to sponsor both series' with a stack of custom, limited-edition discs (only 50 total). You can see a mock-up below featuring another fine M@tt Marro design that highlights both states and series, plus a bad@ss bear! The discs will be used for a combination of event prizes and auction items to raise $$ for Finals. Vibram will also be a regular presence at events in both series so we thank them for the generous support this year!
Lastly the membership page has been updated with all the players who bought 2016 memberships to-date, either stand-alone or part of tourney registration. Please look up and use your LFDT# for future tourney sign-ups to help us streamline points tracking. I hope you're as excited as we are for the 2016 tour!
2016 LFDT Membership is $5 and membership link is now live!
Benefits of membership
2016 MEMBERSHIP PROMOTION!!
Sign up for your 2016 membership by March 15 and you could win a free 4-year membership extension (pay for 1 year, get 5!). One eligible player will be selected at random the following day to receive the free extension. Get your membership early - tourney regs will start rolling out soon!
The 2016 LFDT season is coming up quick. Here's a quick rundown of changes and tweaks to the tour from last year based on membership vote at this winter's annual meeting:
The below divisions will be tracked for LFDT season points (and payouts). TD’s are encouraged to offer as many other divisions as they see fit (incl MJ1, MA3, etc) but they will not be tracked for season points.
Once again we'll collect a $5 membership fee for the tour. This money is used to cover our (minimal) operating expenses (banking, web, nonprofit corp filing, etc) and infrastructure (leaderboard, scorecards, etc). The benefits of membership (in addition to supporting the tour) are season points tracking, Finals eligibility (in addition to minimum event requirement), and early-registration opportunities for some multi-sanctioned tournaments. All memberships are valid from date of purchase to Dec 31 of that year. We'll also be assigning lifetime member #s to improve points tracking (avoiding name conflicts). PayPal link for 2016 memberships will go live very soon, so stay tuned!
After working with clubs, courses and TD's this past month we're ready to announce the officially official tour schedule for 2016! 10 dates (including qual-only finals) across 10 courses from April to October. The events and calendar are updated on the "Schedule" tab here on our webpage. This is where tourney reg links will post, when available. Stay tuned for more info on membership in 2016. LET'S DO THIS!!!!
